Karen Westfall

Karen L. Westfall of Louisville, Kentucky slipped peacefully from this life to the next on February 5, 2022. She was surrounded by her family and comforted by one of her favorite bible verses, the 23rd Psalm.

Born in Louisville on September 21, 1944, she returned after 68 years away, growing up, attending school and meeting her husband of 58 years in West Virginia.

She loved her family and pets, crafting, playing bridge and corresponding with friends made all over the country. Her humor was infectious and had never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband Jim, son Chad (Nikki) of Louisville, daughter Amy (Darrin) of Overland Park, KS, brother David of Columbia, MO and brother Charles of St. Albans, WV.

Cremation and interment are being handled by Louisville Memorial Gardens East. No memorial service is planned. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hosparus, c/o Development Department, 6200 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205.
