She shared a beautiful life with her husband of 41 years, Robert "Bob" Hazelrigg.
Vikki dedicated her career to shaping young minds as an educator. She started her journey at Crestwood Elementary School, where she imparted knowledge and wisdom to countless students for several years. Outside of work and studies, Vikki had a vibrant spirit and many interests that brought joy to her life. She found fulfillment through volunteering at Southeast Christian Church, where she selflessly gave back to her community. She always enjoyed laying on the beach, shopping at Talbots, sending funny cards to her loved ones, and spending time with her grandchildren. She took joy in attending the annual Shawnee Girls Slumber Party.
Vikki faced many challenges throughout her life with strength and grace. She battled Alzheimer's dementia with unwavering courage. Her resilience inspired all who knew her and served as a testament to her indomitable spirit.
In addition to being survived by her loving husband Bob, Vikki leaves behind a legacy of love through their children: Kelly Burgess (David), Scott Fitzner (Kelly), Amy Davis (Charlie), Robin Zoellner (Rich), and their grandchildren: Bryan Kloos, Ryan and Michael Pope, Harrison Zoellner, Oscar Zoellner, and Addie Zoellner.
