Ruby Johnston

Ruby Francis Johnston of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the age of 87. She was at home surrounded by her family. Ruby was an incredibly kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She liked spending time with her family, sitting in her rocker on the porch enjoying the breeze but she really loved her Krispy Kreme glazed donuts on Sunday morning! Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James H. Johnston and oldest son, Tim Johnston. She is survived by her sons, Don (Nancy) Johnston, Bruce (Sue) Johnston and Al Johnston; 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 11 am until the Memorial Service at 1 pm, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40241.
