Patricia H. Jackson, 83, a forty-year resident of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away
peacefully on June 9, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is predeceased by her husband,
Richard M. (Dick) Jackson, sister, Viola Berry, brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Andrea
Hundley, niece, Pamela Zenger, nephew, Dale Chasteen Jr., and niece Sheila Dohoney. Pat is
survived by her daughters, and son, Kim McArdle (Richard), Jennifer Tagliarino, Barrett
Tagliarino (Chava), and her stepson and stepdaughter, Rick Jackson (Lisa), and Lauren Bruge
(Nick). She will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren, Arianne McArdle, Barrett
Hoffman, Erica Hoffman, Nico and Zack Bruge, and Adam Jackson. She is also survived by her
brother, John Hundley (Suzann) and sisters, Doris Irwin (Buddy), and Sarah Wermuth. Pat
cherished all her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pat was born to the late
Lamar and Euvaline (Sumner) Hundley, and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. A graduate of
S.F. Durrett High School, she enjoyed careers as a bookkeeper with Fessel, Siegfried and
Moeller Advertising Agency in Louisville, and Billingham and Associates Accounting Services in
Tarpon Springs. Pat was a thirty-three-year member of Elim Temple No. 76, Daughters of the
Nile, and 2002 First Lady of Egypt Shriners, Tampa, Florida. She was a sixteen-year member of
Princess Chasco Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, where she
presided as Chapter Regent from 2012-2018. She was also an active member of the Red Hat
Society, Order of the Eastern Star, and The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Pat and
Dick traveled extensively throughout the United States in their motorhome RV. They explored
over thirty countries on cruises and tours with the Egypt Shriners. They were avid boaters in
both Kentucky and Florida. Pat was an enthusiast of genealogy research, crossword puzzles,
and cooking. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren and family. Services to
celebrate “Pat, Sister, Mom, Patty Cake, Grandmommie”, will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens
& Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd., Louisville, KY. Visitation on Wed., June 17,
2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm., and Thurs., June 18, 2026, from 12:00-1:00pm. Funeral service on
Thurs., June 18, 2026 at 1:00pm. Remembrances may be made in the form of contributions to:
Shriners Children’s at donate.shrinerschildrens.org, or Daughters of the Nile Foundation, at
donfdn.org.
