Matthew Alan Hubrich

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Matthew Alan Hubrich, age 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away August 11, 2026. He was born on July 5, 1979, in Louisville Kentucky to Ted and Dottie Elder Hubrich.

Matthew graduated from Male High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving his County for 6 years. He worked at Charter Communication for 16 years. He had a deep love for the Louisville Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. He loved space, nature, camping and marvel movies. He loved Star Wars, a good bourbon, and music festivals.

He leaves behind his parents Ted and Dottie Elder Hubrich, daughter Meredith Hubrich, wife Shalome Hubrich, stepson Waylon Gribbins, William Gradone, Dylan Gradone, and stepdaughter Ellie MaeJackey, sisters Mellanie Lorie, Carrie Jo Crosby, brother Alec Hubrich, Step- Mother Angie Hubrich, and a wide circle of friends, relatives, and colleagues.

Please join us for a celebration of life on Wednesday, August 19th from 3 pm to 5 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm for the service at: Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East. The family asks that all family members and friends be respectful as this is a hard situation where everyone is grieving. The family also requests that you wear your favorite team shirt or your favorite band shirt to celebrate Matthew.

The family ask that donations in Matthew's remembrance be made to any organization for sea life.
