Mary Margaret "Meg" Cunningham

Mary Margaret “Meg” Cunningham, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 8, 2026.

Mary Margaret was born on August 13, 1951, to the late William and Ellen Jacobs. She was a registered nurse for many years and dedicated her life to caring for others.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Ehrhart (Matthew); her son, Brian Cunningham; and her sister, Julie Tucker (Bobby). Mary Margaret was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Madelyn Ehrhart, Emily Williams, and Hannah Ehrhart. She is also survived by her nephew, Don Jacobs; niece, Mary Kelley Tucker; great-nephew, William Jacobs; and her beloved dog, Dobby.

Mary Margaret enjoyed many things in life. She loved reading, spoiling her grandchildren, and watching them participate in their sports activities. She enjoyed watching her Tuesday shows, going on Sunday lunches with her son Brian, bird watching, and cheering on Kentucky basketball. She started her mornings and ended her days with a hot cup of tea with extra sugar.

Mary Margaret was an amazing mother and a wonderful Granny to her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and will be remembered for the love and care she gave to her family and all those fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral service will take place at St. Aloysius on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00am with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
