Margaret H. Roberts

89, Margaret Hornback Roberts (Beanie) joined her mother, father, brother and sisters in Heaven January 27, 2025. Born January 14,1936 in New Haven, Kentucky to the late Otis and Sallie Hornback, Beanie resided in Louisville her whole life. She graduated from DuPont Manual High School and then married Gerald L. Roberts in 1955. She was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church and before that Green Acres Baptist. Beanie loved to garden, run, watch sports (especially the Louisville Cardinals) and spend time with her family and friends. She and Gerald had three children: Roslyn Mohler (Bob), Brent Roberts (Liliana), and Brenda Salinas (Tony). She is preceded in death by her brother, Otis Hornback, Jr and sisters, Geraldine Hornback, Carolyn Cade, Kathleen Burks, and MaryAnn Hoskins. Freda Holbert is the sole surviving sister. She has three granddaughters: Sydne Wilson, Kylye Ward and Brianna Salinas and one grandson: Tee Salinas.

Family and friends may join us in celebrating Margaret’s life on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be at 10:00am, the Funeral Service at 11:00am with burial to follow.
