Linda A. Hand

Linda Banks Hand, 81, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025. Born on December 15, 1943, to the late Russell and Marion Banks, Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of faith.

She is survived by her loving children: Karin Lynn Hand (M. Armin White), James Russell Hand (Melissa Anne Hand), and Deborah Ann Jones. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren: Devin Elizabeth Hand White, Iain Bailey Hand White, Morgan Ann Doss  Emilie Anne Hand, and Lucas James Hand. Her love for them was boundless, and they were truly the light of her life.

A longtime member of St. John United Methodist Church, Linda's faith was the foundation of her life. She found purpose in spreading kindness and love, always putting others before herself.

Family and friends are invited to honor Linda’s life at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. A private burial will take place afterward.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Linda’s giving spirit.

Linda will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
