Joseph Thomas Stevens

Joseph Thomas Stevens, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 5, 2026.Joe was born on December 5, 1941, to the late Charles and Mary Stevens.Joe is survived by the love of his life of 20 years, Tania Stevens. Joseph and Tania were married on July 18, 2006. 

He is also survived by his brother, Louis Herman Stevens Sr. (Adrienne); his children, Joyce Ann Kristoff (Mike), Joseph Anthony Stevens, and Joni Stevens; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, Alexis, Kalyn (Shane), and Laura. Joe was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Asher and Avery.Joe enjoyed many activities throughout his life, including golfing, dancing, marathons, skiing, and roller skating.

 He owned his own plane and was a private pilot who loved to travel. Joseph also played guitar and enjoyed writing songs for his lovely wife, family and friends.Joe and Tania were members of St. Patrick Catholic Church and he loved being in the Choir. Joe will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of music and travel, and, most importantly, the love he shared with Tania, family and friends.

The family requests no flowers or food. Instead, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hosparus Health of Louisville, or Kosair Children’s Hospital.Visitation will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
