Henry Simon Blumenthal

Henry Simon Blumenthal, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025. Born on November 2, 1943, in Morehead, North Carolina, to the late Henry Simon Blumenthal Jr. and Anne Louise Blumenthal, Henry lived a life of service, dedication, and love for his family.

A proud veteran, Henry served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His strength, bravery, and commitment to his fellow soldiers were a testament to his character.

Henry is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Vicki Blumenthal, who stood by his side through life’s journey. He also leaves behind his loving children, Hank Blumenthal and Lynn Bell (Robert), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Simon Gray, Benjamin Bell, and Carson Blumenthal, who brought him immense pride and joy. His sister, Joan Johnson, also survives him, carrying on his memory.

A private gathering for family to honor Henry’s life will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Friday, March 21, 2025.

Henry will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his unwavering service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His legacy of strength, kindness, and dedication will live on through those who knew and loved him.
