Harold Robinson

Harold Robinson, 94, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Born on July 21, 1931, to the late Lawrence Robinson and Laurie Saborn Robinson, Harold lived a life marked by dedication, love, and service.

He is now joyfully reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Rachel, with whom he shared many wonderful years.

Harold dedicated his career to education, serving as a school principal for many years and making a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. He earned his master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and also attended Eastern Kentucky University.

A man of many passions, Harold loved fishing, golfing, and traveling. He especially enjoyed winters spent at the couple’s home in Arizona. Above all, he cherished his family, always staying connected and up to date with their lives.

Harold was a faithful member of Walnut Street Baptist Church since 1970, living out his faith in both word and action.

He is survived by his loving sons, Steve Robinson (Cheryl) and Kent Robinson (Kris); his grandchildren, Jessica Franklin, Andrew Robinson, Nathan Robinson (Chelsea), Jenny Hornback (Andrew), and Matthew Robinson; and his great-grandchildren, Chloe Robinson, Katie Robinson, Rorie Robinson, Charli Robinson, Rylen Barkley, Henry Hornback, Grace Hornback, and Eli Franklin. He is now reunited in heaven with many loved ones who went before him.

• Visitation: Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East

• Funeral Service: Friday, August 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location

• Burial: Monday, August 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Harold will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, dedicated educator, and man of strong faith. His wisdom, warmth, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
