Diana Marie Witt

Diana Marie Witt (Dee Dee), 66, of La Grange, KY, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024.

Dee Dee was born in Louisville, KY on January 31, 1958 to the late Charles Ballard and Shirley Young. She worked most of her life as a CNA for multiple nursing homes.  She had a heart for caring for the elderly and others.  Dee Dee had a love for animals, especially Major Lee, flowers, gardening, sewing and baking.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Jane and Edgar Ballard.

Left to cherish the memory of Dee Dee are her two sons; Tracy (Benjie) Witt and Wes Witt, six grandchildren; Tristan Witt, Alexandria Witt, Avery Witt, Aubrey Witt, Weston Witt, Preston Witt, three siblings; Chuck (Brenda) Ballard, Sherry Hillerby, Elmer (Stevlynn) Ballard, a dear friend Rickie Horstman, several nieces and nephews as well as extended family members.

Visitation will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East – 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10 AM to 1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1 PM.
