Dangella was born on June 2, 1979, in Bogotá, Colombia, to Heberto Barrios Guerrero and Luz Angelica Guzmán Quevedo. From a young age, Dangella vibrant spirit and kind heart left a lasting impact on everyone around her. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend, who never hesitated to offer help to anyone in need.


Dangella was known for her outgoing personality, great sense of humor, and genuine love for life. She found joy in the simple things: dancing, swimming, working out, eating and cooking healthy meals, relaxing with friends and family, and spending time outdoors. Whether at the lake, the park, or enjoying her favorite music, Dangella lived life to the fullest and shared that joy with those around her.


She was deeply committed to her family and friends, and nothing meant more to her than sharing quality time with her loved ones. Her warm smile, contagious laughter, and generous nature will be missed beyond words.


Dangella is preceded in death by her grandmother Ana Elvia Quevedo Martinez; and her dear brother, Hebert Daniel Barrios Guzmán.


He is survived by her loving mother, Luz Angelica Gonzalez; and her two brothers, Roger and Juan David; her nephews, Joaquin and Benjamin; and nieces Marisol and Magnolia; many aunts; uncles; and cousins; and a large circle of extended family and close friends who will carry her memory forever in their hearts.


A funeral service to celebrate Dangella’s life will be held on Saturday, August 09, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, located at 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40241, beginning at 1:00 PM.


A visitation will take place on Friday, August 08, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40241 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 09, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.


Dangella’s life was a beautiful gift, and though she has left us far too soon, her spirit will live on forever in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Con profundo dolor y corazones rotos, anunciamos el fallecimiento inesperado de Dangella B. Spalding, de 46 años, el miércoles 30 de julio de 2025, en Louisville, Kentucky.


Dangella nació el 2 de junio de 1979 en Bogotá, Colombia, hija de Heberto Barrios Guerrero y Luz Angélica Guzmán Quevedo. Desde muy joven, el espíritu vibrante y el corazón bondadoso de Dangella dejaron una huella duradera en todos los que la rodeaban. Fue una hija, hermana, tía, esposa y amiga devota y amorosa, que nunca dudó en ofrecer su ayuda a quien la necesitara.


Dangella era conocida por su personalidad extrovertida, su gran sentido del humor y su auténtico amor por la vida. Encontraba alegría en las cosas simples: bailar, nadar, hacer ejercicio, comer y cocinar comidas saludables, relajarse con amigos y familia, y pasar tiempo al aire libre. Ya fuera en el lago, en el parque o disfrutando de su música favorita, Dangella vivía la vida plenamente y compartía esa alegría con quienes la rodeaban.


Estaba profundamente comprometida con su familia y amigos, y no había nada más importante para ella que compartir momentos de calidad con sus seres queridos. Su sonrisa cálida, su risa contagiosa y su naturaleza generosa serán extrañadas más allá de las palabras.


Dangella fue precedida en muerte por su abuela, Ana Elvia Quevedo Martínez, y su querido hermano, Hebert Daniel Barrios Guzmán.


Le sobreviven su amorosa madre, Luz Angélica González; sus dos hermanos, Roger y Juan David; sus sobrinos, Joaquín y Benjamín; sus sobrinas, Marisol y Magnolia; muchas tías, tíos y primos, y una gran cantidad de familiares extendidos y amigos cercanos que llevarán su recuerdo por siempre en el corazón.


El servicio fúnebre para celebrar la vida de Dangella se llevará a cabo el sábado 9 de agosto de 2025, en Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, ubicado en 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40241, comenzando a la 1:00 PM.


La velación se realizará el viernes 8 de agosto de 2025, en el mismo lugar, de 4:00 PM a 8:00 PM, y continuará el sábado 9 de agosto de 2025, de 11:00 AM a 2:00 PM.
