It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candida Beltran, who left us peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 96. She was born on December 1, 1928, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Felicita Beltran.

Candida lived a life full of love, devotion, and unwavering faith. She was a caring and hardworking woman, whose devotion to God and the teachings of the Bible were central to her life. Her strong faith was a source of comfort and guidance for all who knew her. Candida found joy in sharing the word of the Lord and nurturing those around her, often offering kind words and encouragement.

An avid gardener with a green thumb, Candida had a deep love for nature. Her garden was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, and she took great pride in caring for it. She had a particular fondness for animals, especially her beloved parakeets, whom she cherished. Her love for all living creatures was a testament to her kind and gentle heart.

Candida’s adventurous spirit led her to travel to various cities in her younger years, where she worked diligently making men's shirts. Her work ethic and adventurous nature remained with her throughout her life. Above all, Candida adored her family, taking immense pride in her roles as a great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
