Alma Bowman

Alma Jean Bowman, 87, passed away on Friday October 23, 2020 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.  She was born on December 22, 1932 in Corbin Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mabel Brock. Alma graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1956 with a degree in Commerce.   She was passionate about health and wellness and this continued into her later years of life.  She enjoyed swimming, yoga, and was performing in ballet recitals into her 70’s.  She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Paula Bowman, son, Barry Bowman, sisters, Wilma Wheeler (Bryce) and Bernice Weber (Herb), brothers, Robert (Linda) and Richard (Debbie) Brock, grandchildren, Jordan, Joell, McKenzie Chesney, her great-grand daughter, Paisley Piper and Paul Bowman.  A memorial service celebrating Alma’s life will be held in 2021.
