Edward Krekel

KREKEL, EDWARD "ED" ANTHONY, 63, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013. He was a Division Chief with the Middletown Fire Department having served as a volunteer fireman for over 30 years and a service technician with Robbins Heating and Air and Glanz Heating and Air. Mr. Krekel was a catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward M. and Angela Krekel. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan E. Bisig Krekel; daughter, Kelli Lynn Bowlin (Scott); sons, Charles Edward Krekel (Dawn) and Jason Anthony Krekel (Kathy); sisters, Tricia Wimberg (Denny) and Mildred Scrogham (Rick); brother, William Krekel (Jan); mother-in-law, Elaine Bisig; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to WHAS Crusade for Children.
